Happy new year from Brite Lines!

Very excited to announce that after a couple years of trying to make it happen, we’re finally getting to play a show with our buddies in Big Sur. It’ll be happening on Friday, 1/31 at the Columbia City Theater. And fellow locals Ruler will be opening! They, too… rule. STOKED!Facebook event: https://facebook.com/events/1404567676449282/

WOW! What a night, guys! The Crocodile was just packed by you all! We are so lucky to have each of you to support and energize us like you did on Friday night. That was such an incredible special thing. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

And & Yet and And And And—genuinely so great to share a stage with you folks.

So thankful for everything that’s been and SO PUMPED FOR EVERYTHING TO COME.

Here are a handful of crowd-sourced photos from our performance, stolen from people who posted them to social networks including Instagram users @jessienotjesse, @thatswhatsupwadzita, @alainakaysheen, @cumulus_alex, and @hzglauren plus Facebook users Pete Jordan and Courtney Martin. Let us know if you want them taken off for some reason!

xoxo,

Just saw them last night at The Crocodile. Excellent show, excellent people! Go forth and support them!

"The foundation of Make Shift, in tandem with the angle of this new song, leaves us giddy with anticipation to what this band will do next. We strongly suggest you get yourself to the Crocodile Friday and check it out firsthand."

- Music blog Three Imaginary Girls (in recommending our show this Friday.)

The Stranger posted our video to their Line Out blog! Thanks, Kelly O and cronies!

Please enjoy this mockumentary we made about Seattle’s cutthroat local music scene!

If you like it, share it! See you on the 6th! http://facebook.com/events/1430628457152505/

More radio airplay love from 107.7 The End! Thanks, yous! And some pretty awesome company, too. I was stoked to hear cumulusband and laluzband and dudeyork on the same show, too! We have a pretty awesome local scene, guys.

We realize you make tough choices every day and Friday, December 6th won’t be an exception. Whether you choose us or our close rivals, Pearl Jam*, we’ll still love you. Thanks, 107.7 The End for recommending OUR SHOW AT THE CROCODILE(!) alongside the ‘Jam and Jeff Tweedy. Great company to keep!* j/k we don’t know Pearl Jam. And they sure as hell don’t know us! (Hey, Eddie, let’s change that!)
